Grossglockner Mountain The Grossglockner, the highest mountain in Austria at 3797 metres, is set in the wonderful Hohe Tauern National Park. The mountain actually consists of two peaks Großglockner and Kleinglockner, separated by a narrow section, the Glocknerscharte.

Pasterze Glacier The Pasterze, approximately 9km in length, is the longest glacier in Austria and in the Eastern Alps. It lies in the valley below the Grossglockner, Austria’s highest mountain. During the summer months, the glacier can be reached from the Grossglockner Pass by road.
